Turns and making them too wide

I took the msf course about 2 years ago. Rode for like 3 days after that and never rode again. Bought my first new bike about a month ago and been riding here and there for the past 2 weeks.I’m getting better slowly, but surely and still remember stuff from the msf but making turns from lights etc I tend to make them really wide to where I end up getting really close to the curb on my right side. So close that I think that one day I’m gonna hit the curb and fall off lol.How could I possibly fix this?
