So someone tried running across the street on a busy street...

https://imgur.com/a/VpwrLu1Cruising down a busy street with cars all around me. This guy decides it's a good time to Jay walk, by making a run across the street. That split second occurred where all of a sudden this guy is right in front of me, no time to react. Slammed into this guy and he causes me to go down as well. My leg hurts and I am still trying to process what happened, it was all so quick. The guy that I hit was able to walk away, and the cops let him go with a citation. He openly admitted to the police that it was his fault, and a couple people told the cops he just he did run into the street. I'm also glad that I didn't end up seriously hurting him. He was able to get up and walk away. I'm sure he's going to be more sore than I am in the morning.Please, please, please follow the rules of the road, even if you're a pedestrian. There is a reason for crosswalks (In fact there was a crosswalk about 30 feet ahead at the intersection.)
