My first licensed ride

So tonight I went on my first ride since getting my license. Just a quick little cruise on some back roads during some free time. It wasn't the best choice to go at dusk but I was dying to get out there.On my way back home I was riding on a road in between two cornfields that were right up to the edge of the road going about 45. Out of the corner of my eye I saw some movement and a deer jumped out on my right side. Since it was so close when it jumped I couldn't react at all and just tried to keep my course.The deer's head cracked right on my shinbone and the deer like flipped away from me, I just held my speed and kept going because I didn't know what else to do. Luckily it didn't touch the bike at all and made contact solely with my leg. As the adrenaline starts to wear off my leg is starting to feel it now.
