First proper long trip coming up.

So just want to share a bit of my excitement. My GF's dad has been asking us to come visit him for a while now, he just moved into a new house on the East Coast of South Africa. We gave in our dates Yesterday and we are finally doing it over December.The trip is around 700km one way, we then plan on coming back right before Christmas and taking a small detour to spend Christmas in a small town situated in the Mountains, this also makes a brilliant half way stop on the way back, as it sits almost 350km from home and 400km from her father's house.We plan on doing the first leg down to the coast in one shot, I know this is going to be extremely tiring, but we are up for it. Plan on leaving early morning to reach the halfway mark around 9:00 for a decent breakfast and an hour or so rest time before heading on the road again.Not doing much to prepare, except for investing in a tail bag for her bike for all the heavy stuff so the backpack only needs to take clothes. I already have a nice tank bag for mine. Also getting communicators soon.Going down on my MT09 and her R3.
