Gear maintenance

So.Nobody bothered to tell me these things.Keep your leathers conditioned. Buy some stuff(you can get it any where. Horse stores and bike stores will have it. ) use it. Doesn't have to be every day. Every few weeks hell. Just use it.But keeping it nice and supple will make it last longer and save you lots of money. Cracked leather builds friction. Friction is bad in a crash.Do it to your seat too. No point in spending hundreds to a grand on a new seat(fellow cruiser riders) if you keep letting it go to crap between rides.Helmets too. People you don't think your helmets visor is dirty til your on your way home and the sun's in your eyes and because one side of the visor is crap you can't see anything, let alone the next twisty. You take care of this stuffm it will take care of you.Take it from a guy who's let thousands go to crap because he figured "its leather! Shit lasts forever. It's tough!" Iv learned my lesson via /r/motorcycles https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/fwdp5e/gear_maintenance/?utm_source=ifttt
