I was downshifting coming to a stop. I mistakenly thought I was in 3rd downshifting to 2nd when in actuality I was in 2nd and downshifted into neutral. I let out the clutch and was startled to see that there was no engine braking because, duh, I was in neutral. I immediately pulled in the clutch and applied brakes and just out of habit I kicked down into 1st while going probably about 20-25 mph and I heard a big clunk which startled me. Think the clunk when kicking down from neutral into first at a standstill, just louder. It rode fine the rest of the way home and I'm not too worried but I'm curious: did I do any damage or was that just another neutral to 1st clunk, just at speed instead of a standstill? via /r/motorcycles https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/f5joze/downshift_clunk_did_i_do_damage/?utm_source=ifttt
