My DIY low profile top case/lockbox and phone mount I just finished for my KTM 1290 super adventure R

For the top case I spent a lot of time looking for a manufactured case that wasn't a big box meant for holding helmets, something low profile that could lock some essentials in and be water proof and durable etc. Someone on reddit tipped me off to look at pelican cases, and I must've looked at every variation of case those guys make and only found 1 with the right dimensions and features.I used a 1400 protector pelican case, and in it I'm locking up a tool bag, tire inflator, battery jumper/phone charger, flashlight, and fuel bottle.I've also been looking for the perfect phone mount. I've had a ram mount which never dropped my phone or anything, but I wanted something that can secure my phone and its wallet case and still be waterproof. Nothing I found looked quite secure enough or was waterproof like I wanted.I realized I could simply use a cheap waterproof pouch with some velcro straps and it would be perfect. 2 straps + the buckle for the bag itself prevent it from moving. Now I've got my phone and wallet case waterproofed and mounted securely and touch screen is still accessible. It might not look as classy as some, but I'm glad I was able to make the perfect accessories rather than spend way too much money on less effective equipment.
