I bought this bike not knowing if I would enjoy riding on dirt.... Been having a blast the last month!

I'd been considering buying an adventure bike or dual sport for a long time, but was hesitant to ride into the wilderness solo. I've been on street bikes for 10 years, and when my friend bought his first bike and it was an adventure bike, I knew it was time. I bought this XR650L in an "adventure lite" configuration with hard luggage (removed for now) and an upsized fuel tank. Since I picked it up I've been out in the woods with it every weekend and it's been so much fun. I enjoy the ruggedness of this bike and how easy it has been to work on so far.
