Is skipping the line on a left hand turn an asshole move?

I'm new to Reddit so my bad if i lack the proper etiquette so sorry in advance. Okay so I been having this question for a little while and I'm relatively new to riding (4 months now) i live in CA so lane splitting is completely legal but I'm left in a weird situation when there is a left hand turn through a signal and there is a line of cars waiting to turn, do I wait behind the cars for my turn or is it acceptable to lane split to the front and just stand next to the first car to take the turn? is this legal? and does it make me an asshole for doing it? or is it too risky? via /r/motorcycles https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/c4clcz/is_skipping_the_line_on_a_left_hand_turn_an/?utm_source=ifttt
