Be careful out there, near accident

While I took the bike to work a few times this week, today I opted for the truck. On my way home, on the highway, I had a car in the lane just left of me and a little ways up. The lane left of that had a vehicle juust ahead of me. I see a guy on an older R6 coming up fast on my left. He pauses a bit as he reaches us, drops a couple gears and shoots the small gap between the cars to my left. As he makes it out onto open roadway and rolling thru the gears, a massive tank slapper happens. Thankfully his acceleration carried him thru, but only barely, foot off the pegs, one dragging on the road, him hanging off one side of the bike.Only wearing a helmet, T-shirt and jeans.
