Need help identifying some parts of the electrical system on my bike

I just got my first bike, however, the lights don't work. I'm trying to work through diagnosing the problem, but I don't know much about electrical systems, and I'm not sure what some of the parts are. The photos are here https://imgur.com/a/EEso13k. Is the black thing that has 9.2 printed on it a fuse? And I think the third image (says made in japan on it) is an aftermarket electronic ignition system? The 4th one I think is a resistor? If anyone could confirm or deny this or help me out it would be much appreciated. Everything is located just below the seat.
