Hey all, I recently had iridium spark plugs installed on my 2006 Honda 919 by a capable mechanic. He said it would help the bike start up faster and be overall more smooth.Today I went for my 3rd ride with new plugs and for the third time noticed I have to hold the ignition for longer than I used to with the old plugs. I would hold the ignition for maybe a second, let off and the bike wouldn’t stay running. Before the change I could hold the ignition for the same amount of time and the bike would stay running. So what the hell? I’m dissatisfied and feel like it made the start up worse. Maybe he didn’t gap them correctly? Like I said he’s a really qualified mechanic but I guess there’s always the potential for human error. What to you guys think? via /r/motorcycles https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/fmvbp5/better_spark_plugs_worse_start/?utm_source=ifttt
