Tips for washing my motorcycle at home???

Love the look of a clean motorcycle but hate the fact that it might be dirty under the fender or. What are some hacks and tricks you've adopted to get your bike clean? How do you get to every tiny nook and cranny to get rid of that one greasy mark? And how about washing the engine (on say a cruiser where the engine is more exposed than a bike with a fairing)?
