MotoGP 19 career mode question?! What happens after your done with the season ??

I got 19 recently and I really want to dive into the career mode. But I’m a little confused about the way the career mode works in terms of seasons. If I start right away in the pros do I only get one season in the pros or is there a second season ? Like in the F1 games, you get to play I think at least up to 5 years or 10 I forget. Pretty much I want to be a multiple world champion and battle Marquez and rossi for a couple seasons is that how it works ?
