I live in the DC area and it seems to rain on and off almost year round. I want to grab a really nice pair of race gloves, but I'm apprehensive about wearing them in the rain cause they're expensive - Plus, they're probably not great the ~35 degree weather right now.I figure I should get a pair specifically for rain / cold weather, but it looks like most gloves on Revzilla... don't actually keep you warm around 40 degree weather. Weird. Every complaint is "at 30min in 40/50 degree weather my fingers were really cold/fingertips cold/etc"Seeing as how I don't wanna buy a pair of $200 heated gloves, then a $100-150 pair of waterproof gloves for the rainy-but-not-super-cold days, then a $300 pair of race gloves (still gotta get waterproof boots), what's the strategy here?TLDR - Rains on/off year round. Weather is in the 40s right now. Looking to start commuting on the bike again, but how do you avoid buying 8 pairs of gloves/heated grips/etc for each temp/to not ruin the leather stuff? via /r/motorcycles https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/ek93vg/heated_gloves_vs_heated_grips_waterproofability/?utm_source=ifttt
