Bike maintenance

Not trying to tell people how to suck eggs, but just a reminder to you good folks out there about the importance of bike maintenance.Talking to a guy at work about his bike. He pretty new to riding (about 2 years) and has a new mt125. He was asking how long his chain and sprockets should last as his chain has seized links. I asked when he last oiled it and he kinda looked at me blank and said, when it got serviced 6 months ago. When I told it's a weekly task like checking tyre pressures oil level etc and again, he kinda looked blank at me and said that's why he got it serviced. After getting him to read his owners manual and spend a few quid on lubricants (and a new chain) he's a changed man.Hopefully this will open someone else's eyes if they don't realise that bikes need more tlc than a car. via /r/motorcycles https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/etyblf/bike_maintenance/?utm_source=ifttt
