So today for the first time I rode my motorcycle to work, the bike had been giving me issues ever since I got it. I was never able to go far from home cause it would break down, after 7 months of tinkering with it, loosing motivation and giving up, taking it to mechanics and finally doing a little work myself on it the bike seemed like it was finally becoming reliable. So today after test riding it a million times and timing how long it would take me to get to work and riding it around my neighborhood it proved to be reliable. So after contemplating if I should ride it or not I decided to say fuck it and ride to work. Not once did I stall out, had smooth take offs at stop signs and stop lights and managed to have a conversation with a fellow biker and wave to another biker on my way to work. It was such an amazing experience I can’t even describe, my confidence with riding is finally starting to grow stronger.
