Forgive the outburst, but I wonder what you guys think of this.I'm trying to grow a pair by commuting when its other than 80 degrees and sunny, and tonight that meant coming home in the dark at 38 degrees (F). But the wind! I came down a hill into a sweeping right 50mph turn and was met by wind coming almost that fast almost perfectly perpendicular to the road. I was in the left lane and I really had to fight not to be forced into oncoming traffic. I managed - but probably not well.I let off the throttle, but not entirely, and just leaned into the wind and somehow stayed in my lane. I'm sure I was fixated on the oncoming traffic and not on the road ahead of me like I should have been. As I came to a stop in a left turn lane I was nearly blown over as I slowed down. When I got home I looked up a weather station near the curve and it was reporting sustained winds at 41mph with gusts to 51 at pretty much right angles to the road. So: how do you handle a situation like that? What can I do to maintain my safety and predictability when the wind is pushing me from the side almost as fast as it pushes from the front? via /r/motorcycles https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/eoe53u/50mph_crosswind_tried_to_kill_me_tonight/?utm_source=ifttt
