Insurance question: driver backed into my bike...

Driver backed into my VFR while it was parked outside my house. Bike was tipped and fairings are damaged. He left his phone, called him, he agreed to go through insurance. My question is: I don’t carry comprehensive (my bike is a 2006 and really only worth about $3k)... my insurer told me they won’t cover this, but that the other party should since they admitted fault. The other guy’s insurer is USAA. How will this all play out? My mechanic already offered to write up an estimate for damages. Will USAA pay for this? Again, the other guy admitted fault and reported himself to his own insurance company. Any help is appreciated, thanksUpdate: called USAA. The guy already filed a claim and USAA will be accepting 100% liability/responsibility. Someone will contact me in a couple days and set up a time to assess the damage and make an estimate. In the mean time, I will go to my mechanic and get my own estimate just so I have a comparison. I feel kinda bad for the guy because his premium will go up, but I’m also thankful that he was honest about all of it. I don’t make a lot of money and this bike is my nicest possession. Thank you guys for helping me out with all the info...I’ve never had to file a claim before. via /r/motorcycles https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/ecy3cv/insurance_question_driver_backed_into_my_bike/?utm_source=ifttt
