Nuts and bolts - stainless vs ti

Been down a bit of a rabbit hole reading about pro bolt etc, question:Rear axle nut: If I were to replace the oem with ti the stronger nut might chew the spindle if cross threaded or any grit gets between them, which suggests it may be better to use steel, but to use stainless may not be as strong as an oem nut as it's an alloy? Also, use of stainless or ti nuts and bolts may bring their own issues with galling, is opting for diamond like carbon coatings a sufficient solution to prevent this? Not interested in weight saving at all just replacing anything that looks tired over winter. via /r/Trackdays https://www.reddit.com/r/Trackdays/comments/drgnyv/nuts_and_bolts_stainless_vs_ti/?utm_source=ifttt
