16 Yr Old Looking to Race Bikes

Long story short I'm 16, and looking to purchase a 300cc bike (R3, Ninja 300 etc) for track days here in Australia. I have experience in kart racing and car racing, so I do know my way around race tracks however, my only experience on motorcycles are dirt bikes from when I was younger. I'm kind of nervous about the whole idea however I have loved bikes my whole life and would love to experience 2 wheels rather than 4. I'm wondering what everyone's experiences were on their first track days, and if stacking hurts a lot haha.
