Engine braking - 300 class bike ECU flash

I'm thinking about mailing in my ECU to Guhl/Bauce to flash my Ninja 300 ECU. Generic tune (K&N filter + full exhaust). Seems like this is a common thing that people do and are happy with. One of the biggest pluses I hear is that engine braking is reduced by increasing fuel on deceleration, making things 'smoother'.Seems like a double edge sword though. On the upside, things like trailbraking become easier and there is less chance to upset the suspension in transitions (especially if you have the stock damping rod/pogo stick front suspension). On the downside, consider stock brakes on 300 class bikes.. they need all the help they can get.I'm an extreme trackday casual but I appreciate the help engine braking gives me after the straights - it's very strong at high RPM. The 1-2 HP increase from the ECU tune doesn't make the job any easier for the brakes either.Thoughts? via /r/Trackdays https://www.reddit.com/r/Trackdays/comments/d5rco6/engine_braking_300_class_bike_ecu_flash/?utm_source=ifttt
