I hardly knew him.

There is a guy who just bought a 2009 R1 and it had these amazing fairings on it, he didn’t like them so I offered to buy them but he mentioned the left side plastics flew off on the freeway. He wanted me to ride with him but that gave me an unsettling feeling of recklessness, I did some more hunting on his instagram and I found a post “Just got an R1, ever since I was 14-15 I’ve always wanted a sports bike” as a rider I know you should not go to a 1000cc for your first bike. He’s had other posts of doing donuts or burnouts and speeding in his or his friends car. This all seems like too much and I didn’t feel safe riding with him so I just prolonged the meetup with him. It turns out he was going somewhere around yesterday at noon and a truck cut him off, he flew I believe looking at the video that was posted. He was laying about 50-75ft from the scene. The helmet and plastics looked like the ones you were so eager to show me when you got them . R.I.P. man, I never met you but just by my conversations with you I could tell you were the most positive person and probably great to be around.
