New riders, check your tire pressure. I've been riding around on 10psi (front-tire) / 7psi (rear-tire)... my recommended is 32psi (front-tire) / 36psi (rear-tire)

You might not realize it (I certainly didn't) but your tires might be severely underinflated. You probably won't even notice the handling because we newbie's don't know what optimal handling even feels like.Been riding for a few months now, I choose to judge based on looks. I guess I was waiting for a flat tire before I went to the pump. Got me a pressure gauge yesterday, waited until they were dead cold, now I'm getting readings of 10psi and 7psi for the front and back tires respectively. That's less than 33% for the front-tire and less than 20% for the rear tire should be. I'm surprised I don't hear my rims scraping on the asphalt. via /r/motorcycles https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/cd09q8/new_riders_check_your_tire_pressure_ive_been/?utm_source=ifttt
