Wear your gear!

https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/by1d4s/that_was_scary/I was commenting on this thread just yesterday.Today on my way home from the sister in laws house about 5 miles away I low sided going into a right turn. I don’t know if I went in too fast or hit gravel or a paint line, being I was the only one involved it is my fault no matter what. Fact of the matter is what I do know is I had all my gear on. Shredded the elbow on my jacket but it together with the insert prevented any road rash. Gloves saved my palms. Helmet would have saved my head if it hit (full face). I’m fine except my pride. Bike has some minor damage to a bar end, the exhaust and fender but didn’t bend or misalign the bars.Feeling thankful. ATGATT.And I know I’m on a beginner bike.
