Solution for "Bad shifting and Not able to fimd neutral" in an Enfield 350/500 UCE and for wet multiplate clutch. It works.

So My bike had this weird problem of not getting into neutral while it's idling in gear. It was really hard to shift into neutral because I was missing it and shifting straight to 2nd. Or from 2nd to 1st. So I thought It should have been the clutch. But I know how a worn clutch feels like and mine certainly wasn't. It wasn't a biting or slipping problem it was probably a sticky clutch, that's most probably due to the presence of more oil inside the clutch assembly side on the left. So getting to the point, If you're bike is revving too much or slipping while riding it's probably worn clutch plates. But if it isn't that, it's probably because there's more engine oil than the preffered capacity of 2.5L. The problem is when service centre guys put in the new oil, all they do is remove the 19 size bolt and they just straight away put in the new oil. You have to remove all the bolts on the underside. That is the 2X 8 ones, the one 12 on the front side of the underside, and the main 19. That'll remove all the oil. Then put in the new oil. That 12 size bolt removes the excess old oil inside the clutch casing. The excess oil is what makes the clutch sticky and the right amount of engine oil will fix this problem. via /r/motorcycles https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/c60wzx/solution_for_bad_shifting_and_not_able_to_fimd/?utm_source=ifttt
