First speeding ticket! What do?

Did a glorious 800 mile weekend ride in North Carolina last weekend. Hit all the good spots. Sunday was headed back home in Columbia, SC and decided to take the highway back. I never like to do the highway i much prefer back roads but I was super tired and wanted to get home asap. It's a two lane highway and I was about 20 minutes from my house. I felt like I was being blocked in by a semi , F150 , and a Tahoe. I quickly accelerated out of the pack. I look in my rear view mirror and see blue lights. I promptly pull over and he clocked me going 106 in a 70. It's a 6 point ticket $440. He said if I come to the courthouse they will work with me. I have a clean record and I work on cars at a dealership so its important to me that its clean. Also really dont want the insurance to go upI talked to some of the guys at work and they said to hire an attorney. One of the ones I called said they would take on the case for $700 and could almost guarantee that they could get it down to 2 points or dismiss it. Should I go with the lawyer or roll the dice at the courthouse? Thanks via /r/motorcycles https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/c5yi6l/first_speeding_ticket_what_do/?utm_source=ifttt
