Saw another post today where a gentleman with a ZXR400 told a dealer he thought he might have the only ZXR400 in the country. Unfortunately for him, he's not right about that. But they are extremely rare at the moment, so I wanted to share mine:[Imgur](https://imgur.com/KEIqcZ3)It's a 1992 which I imported from Europe under the 25 year rule in 2017. Its a very cool bike, honestly one of the best looking bikes of all time in my own opinion. This example is a bit rough from years of changing hands in Europe, but is sound mechanically with only about 15 thousand kilometers on the clock. From the factory these bikes featured about 62hp from a high-revving 398cc inline-4 engine. They featured the handling prowess of the bigger 750s, with an insurance-friendly engine. That handling makes them great for carving up smooth European roads and tracks, but truth be told the ride is pretty jarring in the rust belt where I live now.Unfortunately, a lot of these 400s never made it to the US, but now they're becoming old enough to import. I hope to see more of them around in the future, and really hope that the retro styling trend starts taking inspiration from these 90s bikes.Bonus: They made one of these in "outrun" colors from the factory. Same patterns as my green and white, but shifted to outrun colors! I think it looks absolutely brilliant: https://raresportbikesforsale.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/06/sefae-730x547.jpg via /r/motorcycles https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/bwvfpl/i_have_one_of_the_few_roadlegal_kawasaki_zxr400s/?utm_source=ifttt
