Two-piece leathers. Great 80:20 for street & track? Or a total half measure.

So I’m new to getting around to the track. (Pretty quick for slow, though!) If I’m not yet a track junkie, doesn’t it make sense to start off with a great two-piece that’s a bit more road-focused?
