Transporting my bike across the country..

We have a Ninja 300 that we're taking with us on our cross-country move to CA. I would just rent a Uhaul trailer meant for motorcycles, but we have other valuables that we need to move, so we got an enclosed 5x8 Uhaul trailer. My plan is to mount the bike upright with the rear stand, lock the steering, keep it in gear, hold the front brake closed, and then tie it down with some straps. However, I'm not really sure what the best way would be loading and unloading it, since the enclosed trailers don't have ramps.Any ideas, advice, tips, etc. are appreciated! via /r/motorcycles https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/bt1fn4/transporting_my_bike_across_the_country/?utm_source=ifttt
