Question about 90 degree turns - have I formed bad habits?

I've been riding a Grom for two years and I just got a Z650, only put about 60 miles on it so far.I think I've formed some bad habits on the bike, especially when making 90 degree turns. For normal curves in the road, I understand that I should slow to a comfortable speed BEFORE the turn, then roll on the throttle DURING the curve. However for 90 degree turns, I sometimes catch myself "coasting" through most of the turn by holding in the clutch, and then rolling on the throttle when I'm mostly done turning, or even after the turn is complete. This is the wrong way to do it, correct?I think one thing that affects me is that when I'm driving a car, I obviously slow down for 90 degree turns, but not as much as I would on a motorcycle. I know I shouldn't care, but if I have cars behind me, I feel uncomfortable slowing to a crawl on my bike right before a turn.I'm taking an intermediate riding course next weekend to sharpen my riding skills so I will definitely bring this up to my instructor, but anyone have advice? via /r/motorcycles https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/bu1gby/question_about_90_degree_turns_have_i_formed_bad/?utm_source=ifttt
