Not using clutch, stalling from neutral to first gear, am I doing any damage?

Hi everyone, just purchased my first bike, a new Kawasaki Z400. I’m loving it so far, easy and fun to ride.As a new rider, I’ll be at a light in neutral and when the light turns green, I’ll kick it into first gear without the clutch by accident. It stalls of course.
