Lane filtering is finally legal in Utah on May 14th

https://dpsnews.utah.gov/utahs-new-lane-filtering-law/We are now in May and just over a week away from Utah joining the few in the United States to allow Lane filtering. While not to the extent of lane splitting like in California, this feels like a huge step forward and I personally am very excited! On a side note that maybe not everyone will know the law is on a trial basis and will grandfather out in three years. Utah Highway Patrol said if the law is effective and drops accident statistics, it could then be implemented permanently. This is based on whether or not law enforcement finds that motorcyclists are "abusing" the use of lane filtering. via /r/motorcycles https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/bkgsql/lane_filtering_is_finally_legal_in_utah_on_may/?utm_source=ifttt
