Any of you guys run 300/400cc bikes on track days? Not race days. I have over 10 years of car racing in SCCA and car track days. No motorcycle track day experience. Just MX which I have done for 30 years.Spec miata in a Race with a bunch of other miata's super fun!Miata on track day with 911gt3's, z06's, etc not as fun.I am worried it's going to be the same type of thing with a 300cc bike at a track day but 10x more dangerous.I will be in the novice and then intermediate group for a while. Just worried about the speed difference of a 1000/600 and 300cc bike at the end of fast straight. With guys (myself including) who are just learning. Seems like a recipe for disaster.I could jump on any liter bike top it out on the back straight, but that doesn't mean I know what I am doing coming into the turn with a bike going into that same turn at half my speed.I don't know. I really want to go with a 300 especially for cost, but don't want to be a sitting duck.Debating on going to a 600 for a track day bike for this reason.Would love to hear from track day guys and what they thing, as this is all in my head never been to a motorcycle track day.Any 300/400 track day guys? via /r/Trackdays https://www.reddit.com/r/Trackdays/comments/baufi7/300cc_bike_for_track_days_not_race/?utm_source=ifttt
