Album: Me, my bike, and my Nickelodeon-GUTS-style trophyHooniverse post on RADwood SonomaIf you're as big a fan of the 90s as I am, you owe it to yourself to visit a RADwood event, which is a fantastic automotive celebration of the 80s and 90s at which period-correct costume is strongly encouraged.I spent all night cleaning my white wheels, only to get them encrusted with filth hours later in the pouring rain, stinging wind, and nasty mud on the way to Sonoma Raceway, where hundreds had gathered to huddle around the best four-wheeled examples of the era, each complete with a bored wife in the passenger seat scrolling through her phone, waiting for it all to be over. From cocaine-white Countachs to RHD JDM classics to washed-up Autobahn queens, there was something for everyone.I was soaked to the bone by 11, and went into town for lunch, only to find a trophy on my seat when I returned because the awards ceremony was held three hours earlier than scheduled--and with good cause. It was truly miserable weather. The best part was, I didn't win by default! There was another rider stupid enough to slog through the rain, bringing us this rad GPZ1100. Rideapart has a good gallery of fairweather riders who showed their stuff at the LA event if you want to drool even more.RADwood plans to return to the Sonoma Speed Festival at the end of May if you want to be a part of the experience! via /r/motorcycles https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/b140pi/i_picked_up_raddest_motorcycle_last_weekend_at/?utm_source=ifttt
