Proper Braking Technique for Track Riding

Hi all,I'm a new rider (purchased an 03 SV650S last summer) who's looking to get onto the track once the snow melts. I was chatting with a friend who has done on-track lessons, and he told me that they taught him to brake with all 4 fingers on the lever, and would correct riders who used 2 or 3. I find it most comfortable to use 2 or 3, since having that extra little bit of grip on the bar makes rev-matching easier. Is this standard practice for track riding? Thanks via /r/Trackdays https://www.reddit.com/r/Trackdays/comments/au1ru4/proper_braking_technique_for_track_riding/?utm_source=ifttt
