I currently have a 2000 Softail Night Train, all the typical mods and has apes. Its at around 45k miles but the engine was rebuilt once under warranty at around 10k and again out of pocket by the previous owner at 40k I always wanted a harley, but now that I have one I wish that I still had a sport bike. Here's my motorcycle ownership experience (including the dirtbikes I learned on): 2000 cr125, 2000 RM250, 1992 Katana 600, 2002 Bandit 600r, 1998 GSXR 600, 1998 ZX9R, 1999 CBR600 F4, and now the Harley. Plus Im a wholesaler so I have actually ridden, although not owned for a significant amount of time, another 50-60 various bikes ranging from honda rebel's to r1's and hyabusa's.I would really like to trade for some sort of naked sport bike, think fz09. But I havnt been offered such an option even with some cash from my end.The offer's I had so far for straight trade were a sportster 1200 (which I immediately declined) a 2004 zx6r with 7k miles- I asked him to put some cash with it because I believe, even with it's low miles, it just isn't as valuable. I was also offered a 2006 CBR1000rr with about 17k miles. I don't know that its worth quite as much as my harley, but, I think I would enjoy it enough to just straight trade it (even though it has an obnoxious yoshi pipe on it). What are everyone's thought's? Should I just wait for a good cash offer and get exactly what I want? or would the CBR be a good, easy, swap?https://i.redd.it/m7nos5e8jxh21.jpg via /r/motorcycles https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/at3l9l/looking_to_get_out_of_my_harley_and_get_a_sport/?utm_source=ifttt
