Was filtering on the right (I'm in UK) at 10-15mph past a looooong queue of stationary traffic going to work.I was periodically pulling in the clutch and blipping my throttle to alert people of my presence as I filtered past.About half-way along the road, I noticed a woman on a bicycle was following me past the traffic.A car noticed me and pulled over to the left some more (even though there was plenty of space anyway); gave her a thumbs up for her consideration on the way past.Mirror check, still cyclist behind me.Filter past another 3 cars. Then BAM.Some fucking MORON yanked their car out to the right. Their right turn was still a little way down the road, but as the queue was to go straight on, clearly fancied chancing his arm and whizzing past a few cars so he could make his right turn. What he didn't fancy doing was checking his FUCKING mirrors or indicating. Oh no. His time is clearly far too fucking precious for that.I squeezed front and rear brakes but, likely as it was absolutely heaving down with rain, the front locked almost instantly, snapped left and threw me off right.I barrel roll instinctively and look back to see my baby on the floor and a cyclist crying in pain as she's gone straight into my bike.I guess it's that whole fight or flight thing, but I was FURIOUS with this fucking idiot. Ran over screaming and yelling at him. Fuck knows what I said. Can't remember. I remember he looked like his whole life was flashing before his eyes.Anyways I knew I needed to calm down - felt like my heart was about to Shining axe its way out my chest - so picked up my bike, moved it out the road then went and comforted the cyclist for 20mins or so. Left her in good hands with a near-by shop owner who assured me they'd stay with them until their friend arrived. As for the brains of the operation, he was shaking like a wet dog, profusely apologised for basically the whole time I was there after, saying how he is usually so careful to look for bikes and how he couldn't believe what he'd done.I could see he was genuinely mortified by his actions so I decided to leave it at that. He gave me his number (which I verified worked) and said he would pay for any damage to the bike. Thankfully just looks like a cracked wing-mirror; probably as I was only doing about 10-15mph at the time.Anyways thought I'd share. All I could think riding the rest of the way to work was, "I'm buying the best fucking GoPro and helmet mounting kit money can buy!!"TL;DR: Guy pulled out of stationary traffic without looking; took down both me and the cyclist following behind me.TIL: I can barrel roll. via /r/motorcycles https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/a45p80/came_off_today_im_buying_a_fucking_gopro_first/?utm_source=ifttt
