Cost of Owning a 2015 Duke 390 (1 year of Ownership)

WhyWhen I first purchased my motorcycle I decided to keep meticulous track of how much money I spent on it.This was my first motorcycle purchase and I was curious to see what the actual price of upkeep would be. Data is beautiful and I made sure to keep track of everything within an Excel spreadsheet on my computer.I would snap pictures of my gas receipts as well as the ODO in order to keep track of how often I was filling up.I'm posting this now because my lovely Duke 390 was stolen over Veterans Day. I've been pretty depressed about a few things lately and the theft of my bike has been quite the cake topper on my terrible November. That's my excuse as to why I haven't averaged out the mileage / price of gas.General InformationI live in Los Angeles Proper. I work near Downtown LA. When I first got the motorcycle I was living in Downtown proper, a couple of months into ownership I moved to be within 10 miles away from work.I don't own a car and the Duke 390 was my only method of transportation. I would do everything with the Duke. Fetch groceries, go camping, carry items between apartments. I love lane splitting and strongly believe that commuting on a motorcycle gave me a larger shred of sanity.
