Bigger displacement = longer life?

Hi all,New rider here! About to hit 10,000 kms on two wheels very soon. I've been thinking bout my next bike but I'd like to confirm some thoughts / considerations that are in my head.I currently ride a KTM RC 200 (I'm from Asia) we have a 200cc version here. Same everything to the RC 390 minus ABS and comes with shittier stock tires. My original plan was to learn with this bike then upgrade to a bigger displacement soon. But honestly with the road / traffic conditions here this 200 has plenty enough power in my opinion. Putting the power to get out of sketchy situations aside, I've been thinking bout getting a Duke/RC 390. I'd love to have my stuff last a long time. My main idea why I'm upgrading is because higher displacement = less stressed engine = longer life? Does this make any sense or am I just being crazy.Tl;drOn very exact conditions/riding style. Would a 390cc (373 lol) engine last longer than a 200? Significant enough to consider it as my #1 reason to upgrade? Thanks! via /r/motorcycles https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/9yfmz8/bigger_displacement_longer_life/?utm_source=ifttt
