Yesterday I had yet another great experience next to my motorcycle. I was parked in NYC, and I was walking or to my motorcycle to grab my backpack from my hard bags. The little kid walking past with his grandmother goes wide eyed, stops in his tracks, and says “Is that yooouuuurrrr motorcycle?” In the cutest little kid voice. I responded “yep, this is my baby!”I then asked the grandma if it would be alright if he hopped on and revved it a bit. She was beaming with a huge smile, and said he’d love that. I started it up, got it in neutral, and put this little 3 foot tall kid on the seat. He had to fully extend his entire body just to reach the handlebars, but I let him rev it up. At one point he brought my baby close to redline, and I snapped the throttle shut on him. Told him that without moving, making that much noise is bad for the motorcycle. He got off with the biggest smile in the world, and I went on with my day with a matching one.I’m just doing my part to try to create more budding motorcyclists! via /r/motorcycles https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/9lbcid/making_kids_days_really_makes_my_day_too/?utm_source=ifttt
