Hey ya'll,Quick question - I maintain full coverage on my track bike, mostly due to concerns of theft or fire (it lives in the back of a toy hauler at a storage site and not at my home). I also maintain it because, at least according to my insurance company, it will cover an on-track crash (so long as it's not in a timed racing event). My question is: if it were destroyed on the street or in my driveway (lets say I took it out of my driveway and onto the neighborhood roadway in front of my house just to check that it was shifting properly or something - something where I needed a bit more room than my driveway), would insurance cover that? Or would they deny the claim as it was on a "public roadway" while not being street legal (no lights, no plates, etc. - but it is a registered vehicle that I have tabs and a plate for)?I don't see this as a likely scenario since I only take it out on the street in my neighborhood in a super quiet, nice area (and within visual distance of my home), but hey, who knows what could happen - and I would love to understand my exposure a bit better. via /r/Trackdays https://www.reddit.com/r/Trackdays/comments/9r4ph2/insurance_claims_on_track_bikes/?utm_source=ifttt
