Which rain tire size for a 5.5" rim?

I've got a Ducati 749 and I'm trying to gather some information on wets if I ever decided to go that route. I've got 5.5 inch rims and run a 180/55 rear. As far as rain tires go, I've found Metzeler Racetec Rains in 180/55 but I'd have to get them from overseas, they're only available on one site and Metzeler's UK site doesn't list that size anymore.Everything else is either a 160, 165, 185, 190 or 200 width. From what I've read, 165 is too narrow and 190 is too wide (and tall in all available sizes). The 185/60 Dunlop is almost an inch taller than the 180/55.
