https://imgur.com/a/b6vdRLsIt seems I only make posts when I crash or when I get bumped up. Sadly today it was the first one. This was my hardest crash, the gear did its job as best as it could but ankle got messed up pretty bad, and bruises all over the rest of my body and head. Also lost my moto d gps lap timer...Cause of crash: Turn 3c Thunderbolt njmp. Corner worker said I was leaned over alot so may have run out of tire but i doubt it. Imo cause is pretty janky bike setup my 270lbs bottomed that sv bad as I often used to rub exhaust on tire sometime. Also a bunch of other stuff that I kind of don't want to say as to not give people ideas. But not denying its 100% my fault. I should have known the bike and its limits as it was currently set up . I highly doubt i added gas mid corner suddenly I was well into the gas after 3b.But I thought I was keeping a pretty good pace my first time in red group. Last lap I saw before I crash was a 1:47-8. Which I think is pretty good for a 270 lb guy on a 60+/- hp bike. (Technically 256 +14 pounds gear and stuff I guess).Lessons for new riders in track (kinda like me I guess) make sure you got a good bike set up, an sv650 is an awesome bike but I was way to cheap and cut a lot of corners. F** power, suspension, brakes and tires all this after good gear. Also if ur not feeling it don't do it. Last time I crashed same thing happened I wasn't feeling it, felt kinda rushed and stuff, but idk I wasn't feeling it the entire day but still went out there. If anyone wants the bike its in nj. Hmu and I will probably sell it to u for very cheap(has clean title too). I think i am done for the season will be back soon god willingly. via /r/Trackdays https://www.reddit.com/r/Trackdays/comments/8w7dxq/it_was_a_sad_day_today_boys/?utm_source=ifttt
