Not sure how many of you have experience driving a tractor. It's an extremely solitary and somewhat transcendent experience. Sun up to sundown, driving in straight lines at a mile an hour (if that) - I drove a pea combine for a couple of summers when I was a kid. And not the new air conditioned cab Case tractors that most of my field mates had. I picked the vintage McCormick (bad link, but that teeny picture is the only one I could find of the tractor I drove).I just realized that's basically what riding a Hardley is all about. You just ride, forget you're riding and become one with nature. There's really no thinking involved. Fair notice: I live in extremely rural FL with virtually no traffic. It's great for just going out on a cruise with no real destination or time constraints. I generally just ride to get lost and hit the "Home" screen on my GPS when I'm ready to go back.Bonus: The Sporty I just bought has a convenient sticky throttle - built-in cruise control. via /r/motorcycles https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/8wd5f5/i_finally_figured_out_why_i_like_my_hardley_so/?utm_source=ifttt
