Just wanted to share my experience quickly. I took (Ontario's) MSF course last September and bought a bike about a month and a half ago but Covid19 prevented me from going to get it until today! My only experience on a motorcycle has been from the MSF course but I have driven manual cars and a scooter a long long time ago. Other than that, I used to ride my bike all the time.I have to say, today was probably the best feeling I've had in a reallllly long time. The ride was 1.5hrs away from home as I was staying off the highway. That come out to about 120km ride for my very first ride! I was confident enough going in given I got perfect on my MSF test and I did 2-3 laps in the neighborhood where the bike was kept. After a couple of go arounds I set off.The only real trouble I had was the crazy wind (which there was supposed to none of). I got through it by hugging the tank with my legs but I found myself over correcting for the wind a lot of the time so I will definitely need to work on that.I'm pretty much in love with my bike now. I'm itching to take it out again which will probably be tomorrow given the weather is going to be Fantastic.I'm planning on doing some low speed practice as I didn't get to do much of that so if anyone has any suggestions let me know!Bike Pics: https://imgur.com/a/ENXRuXv via /r/motorcycles https://www.reddit.com/r/motorcycles/comments/gcgenj/first_time_out_on_the_roads_and_i_had_the_time_of/?utm_source=ifttt
