What exactly do you apply after treating rust?

Good morning to you all,Getting mentally ready to bring back the shine to an old bike, but I'm lost in some regard. I have my rust treatment chemicals and spray paint for some parts like the tank, but what would you recommend using on the metal frame, pedal/levers and the fork as a coat after treating the rust?
