I crashed recently and my right elbow is scraped up. I wore a Dainese Assen race suit with lots of protective padding around the elbow. But when I look at the suit it looks like it hasn't even touched the ground. At least on the elbow. Other parts are more scraped up. The metal protection on the shoulders even have dents in them. It wasn't a long slide. More of a bang into a wall.So I'm thinking that the skin-scrape must have come from the suit moving on the arm upon impact. I.e if it would have been so tight it couldn't move on the arm the scraping would have been on the suit and not on me.I could get into the suit somewhat comfortably. It was obviously not comfortable in any normal clothing sense but for a race suit I didn't have to struggle too long to get it on. Is that a too loose fit? Or is this kind of elbow scrape from the suit normal and expected when you crash? What do you say?https://preview.redd.it/n976itobizo41.jpg?width=1998&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=b6ba2d11cc825602bbda3168627cd7ed3e3a3d69https://preview.redd.it/1opvkr1eizo41.jpg?width=3024&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=49f2b270c3ee735ea3080a088a552011a3067159 via /r/Trackdays https://www.reddit.com/r/Trackdays/comments/fp8lly/race_suit_fit/?utm_source=ifttt
