Hay gang, im looking at a 2005 Vstrom 1000 with 28k miles. Im currently living in Germany and this bike is owned by an American who brought it from the states. The speedo (analog) and odomiter are in imperial. Can they be switched to metric? More concerning is that the engine bogs, shudders, and shudders at 2500 3000 rpms. After that it is smooth. I also had a weird experience taking off from 1st gear where the clutch felt like it was slipping. Maybe clutch basket. Seems to be a problem. The seller is asking 3150 USD.
