Pocket Bikes [Why so bad?]

Serious discussion..I’ve always been attracted to these in a silly way. I understand people seem to despise them. They are cheap (you get what you pay for) I get that..There just seems to be a lot of hardcore hatred for them as far as safety . As long as you are being responsible and cruising where there is no traffic, what’s the big deal? Also if I’m riding it, I’m the one in danger like dropping into a half pipe on a skateboard. I see a lot of different points on this and I’m just curious.. A lot of mixed feelings. Not much on the internet that’s clear..
